Do they serve Flan??
My family would always visit this bakery when we went to P Town every year. The bakery definitely is a must see and try place. Although some of there items have changed over the years, I still go and enjoy a pastry. When I was young, the real treat was a meat pie with an olive at the bottom, it was so good! This is a gem of a place, a must see.
MoreFood was delicious will be eating here again on my next trip here
It is an absolute must if you are in P town. The fried dough is like nothing you'll ever have! Make sure you get it while it's hot!
MoreWonderful pastries, looking forward to trying more.
Out of dough, but the teller was a little rough on her customer service. Otherwise, delicious offer of bakery products
MorePrices have gone up and quality has gone down.Definitely not what it used to be.
Always a delight. Get some fried dough
Good range of Portuguese baked goods.
Everything tastes great and makes me fat....lol
The smell brought me into this store. Fried dough. But the baklava got me to buy. The Lula's is a whipped creme topping on a pastry. Sadly the whipped topping was tasteless. And the topping doesn't go in all the way... fell flat. Next was the chocolate chip meringue cookies. I only bought one. Is wasn't crazy sugary. But relaxing good. With flavors as it melts in one's mouth. Lastly the baklava was good. Layers among layers of honey supposedly. But not here. Although it was a great try... it was still great to indulge and enjoy. Drink of choice was a Naked Blue Machine drink. Omg so good washing it down. Sadly. The baklava isn't made here. :(The only ding was with a full bearded guy. That failed to use proper hygiene. After biting his thumb nail or digging for gold.... proper hand cleaning is important when serving any type of food. The other 2 employees were awesome and friendly
MoreStopped with some family members, a my wife is Portuguese. Several had the custard cups and flan. All agreed pastries were excellent.
MoreSuper friendly staff and delicious treats! The Massa was soft and yummy!!!!!
Best espresso and bakery in p town Thanks guys 👍
Omelette with sweet bread for $6....in PTown? Damn good deal. The girl at the omelette station was so personable too.
MoreCrowded on weekends but the food is delicious.
Amazing portuguese and regular baked goods, made fresh daily.
We come up to Provincetown yearly and this place is always on our must-stop list. Full of sweet and savory desserts, this place is almost never empty for a good reason. The desserts here are wonderful. My wife always always goes for the fried dough which is awesome. I myself have tried various things here from their sponge cake to the raspberry turnovers to the bread pudding and so on. I have yet to have anything bad here. The location is small so dont expect to squat here, but take your pastry to go and stroll around instead. It's always worth a stop.
MoreThey have some of the best sweets. I had a Date/nut square, it was fantastic. Daughter had baklava, she said it was very good.
MoreThis place is amazing. Small but full of delicious pastries. Love it! Can’t wait to go back.
MoreGreat place to grab a meat pie, and a desert to follow it...
Their custard cups were probably the most delicious thing I consumed on my 10 day New England trip!
MoreThe fried dough is amazing. Portuguese bread is sold by the loaf. But you can get it sliced. Seating is limited but nice family style bakery
MoreI tried a few different pastries. Most of them were too sweet. I couldn't even eat them. The only thing that was pretty good was the blueberry turnovers. Their small almond cookies didnt taste like almonds and their coffee was burnt.
MoreAlways the best. You can't change my mind. Be prepared to wait in line- it is definitely worth it.
MoreThe malasada is probably the most delicious fried dough I’ve ever had. They are brewing New England Coffee Roasters and the pair makes for an excellent start to any day! Great breakfast sandwiches on Portuguese sweet rolls as well.
MoreThe MALASSADA was good as advertised, however the portions were smaller than anticipated. The counter lady was giving us suspicious glances however, so 2 stars. Customer service is important when will people realize??
MoreThis bakery serves tasty pastries and also offers warm breakfast. I went in the beginning of June and there were still many options left when I went around 9 o’clock.
MoreBest malassada. Made fresh all day. Must stop in if in the area.
Being half Portuguese is very touching to be in a place I can please my taste even been far from home. Great place and all the staff is very friendly.
MoreBeen going to this bakery for 50 years. We look forward to stopping there every summer and fall. The staff is wonderful the food ... Oh my. Their Malasadas is fresh made on site, the pastries are perfect, grab a sandwich, its all so delicious. You can't go wrong at this sweet spot.
MoreI've patronized the bakery since the late 1960s. This was my first visit in about five years and some of the original "Portuguese " ambiance is gone. They weren't serving fried dough on the off-season day I visited, but the pastries I bought were still tasty.
MoreYummy cakes, pastries & more.
Do yourself a favor and get a warm malasada, and be prepared to have the best fried dough of your life.
MoreThat is the last bakery in the area. Very interesting and wide range of food. Always something unique there. If you are in the area need to visit and try the food.
MoreThe meat pies are a given when we're in Town.
So delicious, been goin here for 30 years or so, must stop whenever we visit town
MoreWe ate breakfast there two different mornings basic simple No-Frills good food good price. My only regret is I could not sample any of the sweet pastries.
MoreSo far so good
Their fried dough is really good, but the bacalhau fritters are awesome. Tasty and never disappointing...two must have items everytime I visit.
MoreScrumptious doughnuts freshly made in front of you!
What an amazing bakery right in the heart of Ptown! There are so many great treats in this quaint bakery. I highly recommend the shrimp pies, the custards and the the pork meat pies!
MoreAmazing linguica and fried egg sandwich, and awesome bakery selection, malasadas are out of this world
MoreI grew up and still live in a Portuguese neighborhood. Their goodies were definitely delicious and the service was great. However, the prices are a bit high compared to my local neighborhood bakeries. As they are always busy and/or sold out I guess the prices are right for their neighborhood. Don't hesitate to stop here!
MoreNo visit to Provincetown is complete without a visit here! Take home a loaf of their bread or a Portuguese pastry. Or sit down and enjoy the best breakfast sandwich you will ever eat!
MoreFantastic pastries and doughnuts in a classic old bakery. Were we staying nearer by I would have gone here every morning. I don't recall the exact name of the jelly filled doughnut but it was just excellent.
MoreOutstanding fried dough (malasada), lost fifth star due to customer serviceThis longtime Provincetown institution is well known for its amazing fried dough -- the malasada. Really fantastic and, like any fried food, enjoyed as fresh as possible. I've had a couple of the other pastries over the years and they're quite good too. I've never had any of the sandwiches from this store, but I'm always impressed by how scrupulously clean they keep the grill. On a recent visit, a counter service person yelled at me for taking photos in the shop, however, and then stalked away. It was a very very odd experience. I don't understand the issue since I've taken many many photos inside the store over the years. Anyway, I guess the lesson is, have the malasada, but watch out for tetchy counter service guys who might need to switch to decaf if you're taking photos.
MoreThe malasadas are very good. So are the codcakes. It is located conveniently in the heart of Provincetown. The only issue is that often the lines are very long.
MoreGreat memories of a trip this spring to Portugal. Yummy treats
Spectacular sandwiches and pastries
This is a must visit place on the Cape. Unfortunately they close for the winter season. We tried six different pastries and they were all great!
